What patients are saying

The preregistration link provided by the office did not work, so we arrived early to complete the required forms in person. Unfortunately, the office does not offer paper forms, which can be difficult for some patients—especially older individuals like my 70-year-old father who may not be as comfortable with technology. While we were able to complete the online form, we did not have a physical copy of his insurance card because he is currently waiting for a replacement. We did, however, provide the insurance ID number. Despite this, the staff refused to proceed without a copy of the card to verify the information. It would have been more reasonable and patient-centered to verify the coverage using the ID number and allow us to provide the card later. Overall, the experience felt unnecessarily inflexible, and the staff’s communication came across as dismissive rather than helpful. Cancelled the appointment, do not recommend coming here.

this practice is likely engaging in insurance and billing fraud. The administrative incompetence here is a massive red flag. It took them hours just to verify my insurance information, and the staff didn't even know what NPI (National Provider Identifier) to use for the primary care provider. If a PCP office doesn’t know their own basic regulatory credentials, they shouldn't be practicing. Furthermore, they upcoded my preventive visit to include a "sick visit" (CPT 99213) for a concern they explicitly refused to address during the appointment. After I disputed this, the Director of Revenue Cycle Management admitted in writing that the charge was an error and promised to correct it. Over a month later, they have failed to fix it and are still trying to collect on an invalid debt. Knowingly billing insurance and patients for services never rendered is fraudulent. Check your EOBs carefully—this place is a nightmare of "clerical errors" and deceptive billing.

The staff at Total Men’s Primary Care at tech ridge was very friendly and accurate with their service. The wait wasn’t long and the staff treated me like family. They were very professional and made me feel like their number one priority. I’m glad I chose this location for my primary care provider.

They say upfront pricing but they don't say up front coverage. You have to make an appointment and sign up and give away a lot of information in order to see if you are covered and even then it's a whole lot of Hassle and time. Plus they only have a male nurse with a doctor that oversees so basically you don't really have a primary doctor in which is just one person. Your information is going to get passed on. So definitely doesn't meet my needs and the front desk lady seem a little Clueless. Just a pretty face trying to rush to make an appointments. Was not impressed

I am extremely frustrated that this location is the closest one to my residence. There is a young Hispanic clerk at the front desk whose behavior has consistently made my experience unpleasant.I do not know her name, but I have visited this location three to four times, and on every occasion she has displayed a dismissive attitude and a lack of willingness to assist. During a recent visit, I had an issue that required contacting the billing department.I politely asked for the billing department’s phone number. The clerk immediately refused and repeatedly told me that I did not need it. Despite asking multiple times, she continued to deny my request without justification. It was only after her coworker intervened and instructed her to provide the number that she finally complied. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where patients expect professionalism, courtesy, and transparency. I entrusted Total Men’s with my annual exams, blood work, and overall health care, but repeated interactions with this employee have made that trust difficult to maintain.I continue to use this location solely because of its proximity, not because of the quality of front office service.
