If you’re looking for a new physician, look elsewhere. Dr. Gonzalez is a great doctor knowledgeable, kind, and thorough but unfortunately, the operations of his practice have become awful. I’ve been a patient for over seven years, and ever since his transition from Barnabas, the efficiency and communication in his office have gone downhill. As someone who works in healthcare, this is disheartening to witness. I’ve been trying to complete a simple annual physical for nearly four weeks. My first appointment was booked online, but when I arrived, the office was closed. I rescheduled for September and was told I needed outside bloodwork. I never received the lab orders, despite calling four times over two weeks no one returned my calls. Then I got an email from LabCorp saying the orders were sent, but when I went there, they had nothing on file. Dr. Gonzalez himself is excellent, but his staff and administrative processes make it nearly impossible to be seen or get follow-through on even basic tasks. After years of loyalty, this will be my last visit. I’ll be seeking a new primary care physician whose office values patients’ time and communicates effectively.

I have been working with Angelica for some time now and she is by far and away the most knowledgeable and caring practitioner I’ve ever worked with. She has helped me lose weight, get on the correct medications and dosages as well as even gotten me to the point where I can discontinue medications because of how well I have progressed from an over health standpoint. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to simply get healthier, look and feel better, all while working with the most consultative and compassionate provider.
