Dr. Buchert has been an incredible doctor to me. She was the third OB/GYN I went to and she was the only one who took my symptoms seriously. She is caring and proactive. She has been my doctor over ten years and I am very comfortable with her and her entire staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Buchert for 14 years, before her Mint Health practice was established. There are several reasons why I have stayed with Dr. Buchert, and one reason is because she is an amazing doctor. She is an expert in her field, has a great bedside manner, her entire office staff is top-notch (shout out to Kierra!!) and she puts in the time and effort to actually diagnose your medical symptoms and treat them properly. Dr. Buchert listened to my symptoms and analyzed my lab work, and was able to diagnose my thyroid condition and start me on a prescription that actually gave me relief. No other doctor that I saw in the years prior was able to identify my condition, and I was told by several doctors that basically nothing was medically wrong with me. Because of Dr. Buchert's medical care, I Iive a totally different life now. I have energy and I am maintaining a healthy weight, two major struggles when you have an undiagnosed thyroid condition. The BEST part is that I feel really good all of the time. I can't imagine living the way I used too, now that Dr. Buchert has given me my health back. Another reason I have stayed with Dr. Buchert for 14 years is that she is a GOOD HUMAN BEING and cares about the health and wellbeing of all people. I know this because about 8 years ago we happened to cross paths in her role as a CASA volunteer for one of my foster kids. I was surprised at first to be working with her in this new role, but then I realized that Dr. Buchert has a big heart for EVERYONE. I knew she was an awesome doctor before we crossed paths with CASA, but it solidified my faith in her as a person when I came to understand her heart and see her as a servant and advocate for more than just the people who walk through her office doors looking for medical care. When I read other reviews of Dr. Buchert where people claim she only cares about money, I think that those people do not really know Dr. Buchert and her values, which is service to others. I have never met another doctor as dedicated, competent, and authentic as Dr. Buchert. She has changed my life for the better in so many ways!

I visited Mint Health on two occasions—once with Dr. Buchert and once with Nurse Renee. Unfortunately, both experiences left much to be desired. At my first appointment with Dr. Buchert, I waited over an hour before she entered the room. When she finally arrived, her demeanor was cold and impersonal, with minimal eye contact or engagement. It was clear she was in a hurry, which made the encounter feel rushed and dismissive rather than caring or supportive. My visit with Nurse Renee was similarly disappointing. Her bedside manner was even less approachable; she came across as unfriendly and made me feel uncomfortable during the conversation, as if I were being scrutinized rather than cared for. In both appointments, I felt like I was treated more as a number than a person. There was little to no effort to build rapport or provide a personalized experience. Additionally, when I later called with a medical question, I was told by the receptionist that the doctor or nurse could not respond because I was not a recurring patient. I explained that I had been seen twice and considered myself established, but was still denied assistance due to what was described as “legal reasons.” She told me to just "Google it." Interestingly, I called a different provider I had never seen before, and they were more than willing to discuss my concern over the phone. Overall, I was very disappointed with the level of care and professionalism at Mint Health. I hope that Dr. Buchert and Nurse Renee take this feedback, along with other reviews, as an opportunity to reflect and improve their bedside manner for the sake of future patients.

I originally started going here because of some abnormalities in my cycle, and needed my yearly exam. The doctor and staff are nice enough. Dr Buchert prescribed me medications to start taking (and actually the way she told me to take them was incorrect per my fertility doctor, Dr Buchert basically put me on birth control after telling her I really want to be able to have children). My main concern here is that they would not answer a simple question (about the medication they put me on) without me making a follow up appt in which I would spend nearly $200 for the doctor to come in and talk to me for 5 minutes tops, as I do not have health insurance. They also would not refill the medication without that same appointment, and I cannot even go to an appointment because I have moved. This is very unacceptable and very unprofessional of them. Find a doctor/staff who actually cares and who isn’t just hungry for more money.

Mint Health is so much more than a doctors office. It’s a comfortable environment to receive excellent, personalized care by a doctor who cares about her patients health holistically!
