What patients are saying
- Sandy Sweet3 months ago
I’m so incredibly disappointed. Samantha was tremendously helpful my first few visits but the last 2 times I needed prescriptions refilled it was impossible to reach anyone. I went to the office multiple times, messages on the portal, left voice messages and no response. My husband even went to the office asking that they call a prescription in and nothing. Now it’s the Friday before a holiday weekend with no way to have my prescription refilled. As a menopause specialist she should know how important the medication is to her patients.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shannon! Since working with her, my migraines have completely disappeared—something I never thought I’d be able to say. She truly listens, digs deep to find the root of the problem, and creates a plan that feels sustainable and personalized. Beyond that, she’s helping me gracefully step into my 40s with poise and confidence. I feel healthier, more balanced, and more supported than I ever have before. Shannon is caring, thorough, and genuinely invested in her patients’ well-being. I am so grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a functional doctor who goes above and beyond.

I have not had the same experience from the 1 star community. The only thing I can do is praise Shannon for what she has been able to do as far as helping me overcome a few of my health hurdles and concerns. I went from complete brain fog with forgetting words or not being able to finish sentences. I didn’t know I was that sick until I started to feel better. None of my primary Doctors, specialists, or hospital stays (several overnights and days spent trying to figure out what was going on) just to find out my hormones had bottomed out which I told them all to check! Sometimes it takes a WOMAN when all the other MD’s & PHD’s won’t listen. 10 stars - would come here again….and again.

I'm not going to get into a long drawn out opinion of this business so in short I will say I have never gotten a call back from them although I have left many messages. I do not trust the billing or documentation. The red flag was trying to get a person on the phone just to make a new patient appt and never could get anyone to answer or a call back. I should have known better. I have worked in the medical office/clinic/hospital setting all my adult life and I know it can be very hectic at times BUT, you have to be organized! Excuses won't get the job done nor make happy patients/customers!

Would not recommend this practice to anyone. The staff is incompetent especially Caroline who cannot seem to do anything she states she will do or do correctly. Told insurance covers medications the policy does not cover under any circumstances like I stated on first visit after calling our two different insurance policies (husband was a patient too). Was falsely reassured the nurse practitioner she can get stuff approved with a preauthorization. Always blames others for their incompetence- phone service, laboratory, billing company, medical and prescription insurance company, pharmacy, fax machines, etc. Have an incorrect diagnose in my chart as well- that could have lethal implications. Refused to send my medication to my local pharmacy stating it had to be filled in GA- yet was sent there the first time and the next time sent to their pharmacy in North Augusta which is SC not GA). Refused to send the sleep study to the hospital I work at- only would send it to a company that wants the patient to pay cash and whose accuracy is questioned. Thyroid was run into the ground by changing me to a non FDA approved medication, worst labs in over 20 years. Came in to feel better. Instead wasted a ton of time, money, wrecked my health, and now have inaccurate stuff in an electronic medical record. Office does not even know that the term doctor and nurse are legally earned titles (both staff and nurse practitioners use these terms illegally). The medical assistants are illegally called nurses and the nurse practitioners doctors- one is a doctor of nursing practice. Board and insurance companies really need to investigate this office. Seemed to be more worried I was buying Zepbound from Lilly instead of their compounded non FDA approved medication. I refused to continue buying their nearly expired, already opened (sterile seal broken), and short filled vials (missing medication). The owner needs to wake up and realize the staff are destroying her practice and reputation. PCP and GYN told us to not return due to safety concerns regarding non FDA approved medication and illegal possible kick backs and a serious medical diagnosis error. Disappointed registered nurse who is sad others put profit over patient safety, well-being, and being ethical.
