He’s doing all the right things in medicine. He doesn’t allow insurance to dictate any of his recommendation. If you want overall body health…don’t hesitate to call him. I struggled with an autoimmune condition and he never gave up digging and doing the research for my health..where other practitioners just threw up their hands and gave up . I now feel strong again. Along with his lovely, patient team and in particular his wife, Amy, they saved me. MCS

I started going to Inland Northwest back in 2021 originally for my low libido and PCOS, but quickly transitioned to going only for laser hair removal. I was told I should only need 6 sessions, but ended up going regularly for over 2 years. Each visit after the 6th I shared my concern that my hair wasn't going away as promised, but they kept encouraging me to come in for "just one more treatment". It wasn't until my last appointment in 2023 where I broke down crying out of frustration. I felt taken advantage of. The person who did my treatment that day told me it probably wasn't working because laser hair removal doesn't work for people who have PCOS and that people with PCOS typically need electrolysis. I was shocked and devastated. It was then that I realized they knew the whole time that my treatments wouldn't work because of my PCOS. This is a women's clinic, of course they knew. I feel I was scammed out of thousands of dollars. Something else that rubbed me the wrong way was the treatment options I was given when I first started going to appointments for my low libido. They would give me pamphlets of expensive devices and creams that I took home to do research before moving forward, and each of them had very minimal research available online with no evidence of it actually being effective. I had explained to them that I was on Medicaid and didn't have an income (I'm disabled), so I couldn't invest in something that didn't have promising research to back it up. Another problem I had at this clinic was the prices I was charged kept fluctuating. Every time it was time for me to pay, the person at the front desk would ask a co-worker "how much do we charge her?" and the number kept changing. It started off a good deal and the price kept growing. Towards the end I had to ask them what they were charging me because I noticed they stopped telling me what they were charging my card up front and the number became much higher without them giving me a heads up. I had mentioned the price being higher and the person looked me dead in the eyes and said "no, this is what we've always charged you". I even called my bank to double check in case I was losing it, but I was correct and I was being lied to. I brought up the price being higher to another person working there the next time I was in and they confirmed that the prices were adjusted and were higher. I understand that and I support a growing business, but all I ask for is transparency. First edit: The response to my review is misleading. The few times that I had to cancel my appointment due to my disability or starting my period the morning of (I had Brazilian laser hair removal which made that area unbearable on my period), I rescheduled for the very next week, max 2 weeks later (which they confirmed wouldn't make a difference). The response to my review implies that my laser hair removal was unsuccessful because I missed appointments, but that's just not true and is very misleading. I also discussed my concerns with multple different people there many times already. I don't appreciate the manipulative way my review was addressed- I can only assume they responded this way to cover their butts.

Dr Deakins is a great Dr. He used to be my PCP several years ago before he moved onto a different area of healthcare.
