Ever since my first visit with Dr. Rick at the Madsen Health Center in the early 2010s, I knew he was an extremely special doctor. He packed so much advice and information into that short consultation. Clearly he was frustrated by the organization, and when I heard about Kestrel, I knew it was going to be perfect. What I didn't know yet was that post-COVID, I would need him so much. I have told the story of our collaboration to many other post-COVID victims, and everyone who has heard it has commented on how fortunate I was to have found such a remarkable doctor. Without Dr. Rick's help, I would no doubt still be suffering today and searching for a solution. Thank you so much Dr. Rick from the bottom of my heart and from my whole family for helping me regain my health.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rick Henriksen for five years and am very happy with my care. I sought him out because of his skill and approach, blending Western and Functional Medicine to provide comprehensive and holistic treatment. He listens to all concerns, is thorough, responsive and readily available. It is easy to schedule with him in person and/or virtually. I appreciate him being a true partner in my care: listening to my thoughts and feedback, and incorporating them into my treatment plan when appropriate. I have referred family to him and trust him with their care, as well as my own. I plan to continue care with Dr H for the foreseeable future.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Henriksen for about 6 years now and can’t say enough great things about him. I have had health issues for many years that I couldn’t get help for from my local doctors, so decided to try functional medicine and love it. Over the years, Dr Henriksen has taken the time to help me understand the root of my problems and also ordered the proper testing I needed which is what finally placed me on a path to healing.He listens to me when I have concerns, and I love that I can always reach out via messaging or scheduling a virtual appt. My life is great now, and I never thought I could feel this way again. Can’t recommend highly enough!!

I have been seeing Dr. Rick for 5 years now and he has literally been a god send in helping me to manage my rare genetic disease. Unfortunately, because my illness is genetic, I will be sick the rest of my life... however, with the knowledge of Dr. Rick and his functional common sense medicine approach and his willingness to think outside of the box and learn alongside me, we have achieved great positive strides with my health. Dr. Rick is amazing! I’ve kind of been anti-doctor for many years because the entire process is a hassle. Signing up for Kestrel Wellness has completely changed my relationship with a doctor. The access to Dr. Rick via the mobile app anytime and the ability to schedule appointments as often as needed has actually made it easy to have a relationship with my doctor now and I’m so happy.
