What patients are saying
- Soumya Venkateswarana month ago
Dr. Kapoor is pleasant and I do like her. However, I don't think she listens very well/is thorough. Earlier during my appointment with her, she asked if I would take fish oil and I responded that I did not want to take any products with fish. She ended up recommending, among other supplements, one supplement containing fish. Trusting that she had taken all my dietary preferences into account before making her recommendations, I bought all the supplements she recommended for me, including the one with fish. It was only after I opened the supplement and smelled it that I realized it had fish in it. The appointments with Dr. Kapoor are expensive, and the supplements cost a lot, too. And many of the supplements cannot be returned once opened. I'm disappointed because I expected that Dr. Kapoor would take my dietary preferences into consideration before making her supplement recommendations, which is a very reasonable expectation. I later had to reach out to her, asking her for a vegan or vegetarian substitute for the supplement.

Dr. Kapoor was very easy to talk to and she listened to me. She was willing to look at possible treatments I brought her but also explain why she didn't think some would work for me. I didn't feel like she had a cookie-cutter approach for all patients, but rather was making recommendations based on my specific issues. It is also refreshing to find a doctor who has knowledge about and is willing to attempt to treat Long Covid--after 5 years this is the first time I've felt at all optimistic with a medical professional for this problem.
