Went and saw Dr. Bassett a couple months ago and he didn’t really seem that concerned or invested in trying to figure out what is wrong. I have a whole list of things wrong and we did lots of testing and a few things were off and he basically was just like “oh it’s fine. I don’t know what’s wrong with you.” And basically told me to go back to my doctor because he thinks it’s a medication issue even though I had these issues before I even started taking my meds and nothing changed with my symptoms after starting those meds so it’s not the meds.

Unsure how anyone is supose to get in contact or make appointments when referred here as the phones never work 🤷♀️ seems fishy to me.

ZERO stars is more appropriate! You'd better not be in medical crisis and get referred to them. I waited 3 weeks before following up on the referral to be told it would be at least another month to six weeks before they would decide on my case. If they decided at that point to extend a new patient visit to me, it would be that long or longer, again. Their phone system specifically says there's no way to get to a person if you are not an established patient. No empathy. No compassion.

I've called here a few times trying to get scheduled as a new patient. After I heard on their voice message that it's 4-6 weeks to schedule new patients, I figured I'd wait 6 weeks and see if I could get ahold of somebody. Every time I pressed the option for the new patient scheduler (which doesn't exist anymore), it rang a few times and went to her voicemail. After reading the reviews here, I'm going to ask my new PCP for another referral to someplace that actually knows what they're doing, wears masks, and doesn't refer you to god rather than practicing medicine like they're supposed to.

5 stars for Katherine Zuber. 2 stars for the clinic themselves. Zuber is a fantastic endocrinologist and provides a safe space for trans and queer folks. She’s Covid cautious and a really wonderful doctor. My review is so low because the clinic does not require anybody to be wearing face masks. I am immunocompromised and so are most people who are patients with this clinic. I have talked to the manager of the clinic and was told to my face that she doesn’t care about the lives of disabled people even tho she runs a clinic that is life saving for them. I cannot leave my house or go places without risking my health 5 years into this pandemic due to the gross lack of care from the government and also people abandoning the chronically ill and disabled community due to their own desire to “go back to normal”. There’s no going back to normal for disabled people and at the bare minimum I should be safe where doctors are providing services but that is not the case with this clinic. They do not provide staff with anything other than surgical masks when the current recommendation is a high quality well fitted respirator like a N95 or a 3M Aura. I have to ask every time for my nurse to be wearing a high quality respirator and this time she had to borrow one from my doctor who buys them her self and are not provided for her by the clinic. It’s so extremely painful and isolating to not have the bare minimum of care provided to me at a place that claims to help disabled people. Doctors and clinics that do not continue to wear face masks are ableist and are participating in a mass normalization of killing disabled people. Covid doesn’t just affect disabled people it will disable any healthy person including children. It destroys your immune system with every infection and you become more susceptible to opportunistic diseases just like HIV. this is quite literally airborne HIV as it stays in your body forever. Long Covid can also cause a range of physical diseases like type 1 diabetes, the condition I have that requires me to have to see an endocrinologist in the first place. Every secretary, nurse, and doctor in this clinic should be wearing high quality respirators the entire time to midigate the spread of this DEADLY airborne virus.
