Restore Health By Science truly deserves every one of their five stars. Since starting hormone replacement therapy with them, I’ve gone from 14% body fat down to 6%, and I feel better, stronger, and healthier than I have in years. But what really sets this practice apart is the level of care and humanity they show. When I was hospitalized on New Year’s Eve and admitted for four days, Cara personally reached out to make sure I was okay—and even contacted my wife to check on her as well. That kind of compassion and personal attention is something you rarely, if ever, see in healthcare. Restore Health By Science doesn’t just treat numbers or labs—they genuinely care about people, and it shows.

As a woman in my 60s, I struggled with menopausal symptoms for years. My doctor visits were always quick and ended with "try a cream" or "take a pill," and nothing truly helped. Restore Health by Science was a completely different experience. Cara reviewed comprehensive labs with me, explained everything in detail, and created a personalized treatment plan. I had a similar emergency as another reviewer which could have ended with a stroke or heart attack. I was prescribed extremely high doses of Hormones and Thyroid compounds which elevated my blood pressure to highly dangerous levels of 194/110. Cara blamed 15 pounds of weight gain in 3 months on poor diet and something I am doing. I insisted I was eating clean and it was something I was taking. She had no answers and insisted it was not what I was prescribed causing my issues. I saw another physician immediately and told me to throw away whatever she gave me. Within 3 weeks blood pressure returned to normal and the weight came off. Take my word, there is no science to what she is doing. Her certification (worldlink) is a 3 day online course that any NP can take to prescribe hormones. Be careful with hormone specialists! I felt like a lab rat with what I was prescribed. If you ever need your medical records she charges you $1.00 a page after charging Thousands of dollars in fees. My new board certified specialist has me back on track within four months. I’ve lost all the way I gained from being on the excessive amount of hormones, my blood pressure has returned to normal, and I feel great with the exception of an ongoing concern of decreased kidney function, which was the result of the over prescribed hormones. What I have learned is hormone replacement therapy is not a one size fits all. While some people will feel great others can be at a very high risk if the provider is not careful.

Restore health my science has saved me, Cara is the most patient knowledgeable doctor I have ever dealt with. She genuinely cares about your health and well being. She takes time does extensive bloodwork. Goes through every symptom or issue you might be having and honestly does all she can to help improve every single issue and your overall health and well being from day to day life. I’m a 31 year old woman and can say I would be lost without her practice
