I will say Dr. Verma is a great doctor but the staff/receptionists that work there are not professional. They seem to not know what they are doing and communicating is pretty bad. I have been seeing Dr. Verma for years now but I have always had a problem with the staff there. It took two weeks to get a new prior authorization form that was needed for my insurance company. Calling my insurance and the office going back and forth was frustrating and time consuming. I have also had times where labs were sent to Labcorp and when I show up they don’t have it. Again frustrating and time consuming. I feel like I do half there job.

I have been going to Dr. Verma for many years. While it is true her office staff is not very helpful or friendly, Dr. Verma is a fabulous physician. She takes great and accurate notes, has a wealth of knowledge and is confident and decisive.

Save yourselves from a headache. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. The people here are not nice. They're rude and not helpful. First, they cancel my appointment bc they said it was not confirmed and that they didn't take my new insurance but when I called my ins they were in network. So, after this I was done with them and scheduled an appt elsewhere with a new Dr. because it was always an issue with them. I called to see if they fax my records and they refused and tried to get me off the phone immediately. I regret ever going this place.

I had an appointment with Dr. Verma that I confirmed twice - including a voicemail confirmation from their staff. When I showed up, I was told the appointment had been cancelled because I “didn’t confirm,” even though I had proof of the voicemail. When I showed them proof of confirmation, they said it was an error /communication gap in their system but they couldn’t help me. I took time off work for this visit, and instead of taking responsibility or trying to fit me in, the staff were dismissive and rude. The doctor refused to see me or make any effort to accommodate, even though this was their scheduling error. They offered me another appointment three weeks later, which is unacceptable for a patient who showed up 15 mins early to a confirmed visit. The entire experience was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of accountability or empathy. I would strongly encourage others to search for a different doctor. I hope Privia Medical Group reviews their processes and patient service standards.

Terrible place, would never recommend to my worse enemy. Staff calling non stop for ridiculous reasons and being very unprofessional. Being asked to pay before making an appointment is insane to me. This is the kind of place that cares about money and not the patient. Over $200 for a 10 minute convo over telehealth. Take your health ELSEWHERE! ZERO STARS!
