I was referred to Elizabeth Duke, over a year ago for treatment for severe osteoporosis. I was immediately impressed by how knowledgeable she is regarding osteoporosis, its possible complications and its treatment. She advised me very thoroughly about my options regarding medication and therapies and what she felt may work best for me. She was very clear regarding necessary movement and dangerous exertion, about appropriate exercises for my condition and ones to avoid. Elizabeth’s expertise is enhanced by her down to earth, comforting approach, her sense of humor, and her unfailing positivity. Never have I felt rushed during an appointment. I feel that Elizabeth goes out of her way to make sure that all my concerns and questions are addressed. In fact, she has urged me to contact her at any time should the need arise. My most recent visit with her has been in her new office space, in Bangor, happily much more convenient for me. Her previous office was an hour from my home, but I have consistently felt confident that I am receiving the best possible treatment under her care that I never considered trying to find someone nearer. I highly recommend Elizabeth Duke NP.
