I am a big fan of FMI! I came FMI in 2021 to solve questions around inflammation. 5 years in, I have a functional primary care doctor (Amy Ray) who has been able to guide my supplement needs, changing reproductive health needs and new diagnosis’. The whole team meets me where I’m at. Their intake at each appointment focuses on mental health needs to ensure individual wellness. Pricing is so reasonable for what I get in return. Please make the time to make the switch. You won’t regret it.

Functional Medicine of Idaho really helped me when I began seeing them 7 years ago. Karen Callagy was absolutely phenomenal, and I will always be grateful for her help, as well as the help of her former assistant, Emily. As FMI grew and expanded, however, the quality of care they provided began to go downhill. It felt less like they truly cared, and more like I was just another way to make a profit. I grew increasingly frustrated with Karen’s assistant, Laura, who was dismissive and had difficulty communicating effectively. After a negative blood draw experience in their Boise office and miscommunication between their staff members, which caused a great deal of frustration and inconvenience for me, I finally decided to cut ties with FMI. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend them, but I do remain grateful for the ways they did help me on my health journey.

Amy Ray has been my care provider for the last 4 or more years and she's very caring! She coaches me on lifestyle, nutrients that are worthwhile to supplement if needed and as a result, I'm staying very healthy.

Everyone is always welcoming coming in, I’ve always had good service with them. I’m so happy I found Dawn as a provider, she cares a lot about her patients and I definitely feel seen and heard by her with my health! Mentally, physically, spiritually!

They charge $530 for an hour appointment. $300+ for a half hour appointment. They will not tell you this by the way when you make an appointment. Its obnoxious...no justification for why they charge so much, that's just what it costs. Snippy lady on the phone said it's because FMI is the only FM practice in the Valley that bills insurance and they are a private practice. Congrats FMI you are now part of the "Root Cause" of why insurance and health care are so costly. Walked out of there with $200 of supplements as well. Disappointing.
