I went to Alive Functional Wellness in January of this year, frustrated and tired of feeling sick and having no energy. She spent over an hour with me my first visit and really listened to me in a way that I finally felt heard and seen. All other doctors I had been to just tried to medicate the symptoms and send me on my way, but not Yvonne. She wanted to get to the root issues. Through labs and testing, we found I was deficient in B vitamins, iron, and progesterone, and that I had a ton of inflammation in my digestive tract. Using supplements and diet, I’m well on my way to healing. I’ve lost 12 lbs just by focusing on my gut health and choosing anti-inflammatory foods. I have so much more energy and feel so much better! I am so glad I made the choice to see Yvonne for help.

Yvonne is amazing! She has extensive knowledge and understanding of how the body works, and how to help it function in the best way possible. She investigates thoroughly to find the root cause of outward symptoms and starts the healing process there. She also takes time to explain and break things down in a way that is understandable, empowering through education. She truly cares, it’s clear that she actually wants to help each person to achieve physical healing and optimal health. You can tell that she loves what she does and that people aren’t dollar signs to her. She makes me feel valued, seen, and heard, something I’ve never found in any other medical professional. I cannot recommend her enough!

Yvonne has been crucial to me and my health journey over the last year. I have struggled with pcos, endometriosis and overall hormone imbalance for 25+years and have had a recent hysterectomy. She has helped me to naturally recover and balance my hormones to help get me relief. So thankful for her support and understanding. I went to see Yvonne, of Alive Functional Wellness, when I was at rock bottom health-wise and had nearly given up hope that my body could heal and that I could enjoy life again. I had been seeing a popular local gastro and was getting no where. I’d also been spending money on natural remedies online trying to self medicate but without really knowing what was causing all of my gut-related issues. Yvonne took the time to really listen to me and my problems and ran comprehensive tests that really shed light on my struggles. She helped me implement a step-by-step plan that I’m happy to say has given me so much of my life back. I am living joyfully and gratefully thanks to Yvonne’s expertise and her heart. I recommend her for anyone struggling with ongoing symptoms that the medical community has failed to help with!

Yvonne Conaway is an absolute gem! I have struggled with chronic illness for years and, after seeing various doctors and receiving little answers, I began to doubt if I would ever receive the help I needed. I was then connected to Yvonne through a mutual friend and she immediately offered to help me. The thing I have liked best about being treated by her is that she has listened and offered her professional advice but allowed me to lead on what decisions I believe are best for me. Honestly, she is a Godsend and I couldn’t recommend her enough!
