I am not someone who typically leaves reviews, which is why this one matters—my experience with Dr. Truc has been truly extraordinary and life-changing. Before seeing her, I was told my labs would likely never return to normal and that I should focus on just not getting worse. I had thyroid issues, non alcoholic fatty liver issues, chronic Urinary tract infections. After years of chemical exposure in my profession, my body was in terrible condition, my symptoms were overwhelming, and my labs were all over the place. Dr. Truc listened to every detail of my story and treated me as a whole person—not just a list of symptoms. Her approach is incredibly unique; rather than focusing on one area, she is deeply in tune with the body as a whole. She created a detailed and customized plan based on that full understanding, and within just a few months, my symptoms were completely reversed and my labs returned to normal—something I was told would never happen. She is not only exceptionally knowledgeable, but also deeply compassionate, intuitive, and genuinely invested in her patients. I’ve taken many months before posting this so it comes from reflection, not emotion. I became a patient of Dr. Tru at Conscious Medicine starting in June 2024 after being diagnosed with liver cirrhosis at age 27. While some symptoms like fatigue and headaches improved temporarily during treatment, follow-up imaging showed no change in liver scarring, and symptoms quickly returned after stopping supplements in June 2025. I also had ethical concerns about how my case was presented professionally without clear confirmation of imaging changes and her claims of healing cirrhosis based on symptom improvement while I was still on the protocol. Ultimately, I spent about $15k for short-term symptom relief without lasting resolution, and there was no due diligence on her end in confirming whether the cirrhosis was actually reversed. Liver doctors have since confirmed scans remain the same. This alone is a massive ethical consideration. Nobody should expect physicians to reverse something as complex as cirrhosis, but patients do deserve honest, transparent communication grounded in ethical responsibility and medical moral code. If there was uncertainty about interpreting imaging, I believe consultation with appropriate specialists would have been the most responsible approach. This isn’t meant to harm anyone, but to encourage prospective patients to thoroughly research, ask questions, and make fully informed decisions about their care. You deserve that before spending massive amounts of money with whoever you choose to work with. I give this a 2-star rating because the supplements did help with symptoms. However, a 1-star would be more appropriate given the lack of proper medical oversight and transparency.

I am so lucky to have met Dr. Tru. She is so kind, loving and considerate. This is exactly what is missing in the medical community these days! She listens and she actually cares about my health and creating a lifestyle that works for me. I am very grateful that such an intelligent potential dr. switched camps and came to functional medicine! I look forward to our next appointment and my improved health :)
