Sergio Hurtado, PA at Men’s Health Foundation, is truly exceptional. He makes you feel like family from the moment you meet him. He listens with care, explains everything clearly, and never makes you feel rushed. His compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for his patients really stand out. It’s rare to find a provider who combines expertise with such warmth and respect. I’m incredibly grateful to receive care from him and highly recommend him. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wasn’t feeling well! Booked an appointment for Dr Parado, got a call saying he was not available but Dr defotto would help. When I got to the office Sergio was the one to see me. He was stand offish and dismissive! Told me is showed no sign of illness. Didn’t feel my lymph nodes, checked my throat. Sent me home with no blood work or meds. Had to go to urgent care the same day and was told that have strep throat and a mild ear infection. Take what you will from this.

I have been going to this office for well over a decade. In all that time I have had little to no consistency of care. I’ve had 8-10 medical practitioners in that time. It’s so many that I have lost count. It’s like I had to start over every time I went into the office. I love their mission and I’ve tried to stick it out with the hopes that they would improve, but they haven’t. For some reason they cannot keep doctors or even PAs on staff. Disappointingly, I recently had my last visit there. I just want a doctor who knows me and knows what my medical needs are and they have not been able to provide that with any consistency.

Terrible experience. No wonder some of these establishments are getting budget cuts. I am writing to you today about a very confusing and upsetting experience I had during my follow-up appointment with Dr. Pardo regarding my ongoing issue of constant body pain and fatigue. I was truly hoping that this visit would clarify my critical test results and help us establish a treatment plan. The appointment ended in a way that left me completely distressed and without any medical guidance. After Dr. Manuel Pardo came in and said, "I'm busy, what do want today?" as if he is not a medical provider. Total lack of professionalism. I told him I am here for my results and paperwork that needs to be filled out for my insurance continuity. He looked, asked question angrily why I am asking for the paper work to be filled out while he scribbled his details on the paper. he abruptly left the room without providing any explanation or comment on the findings. A couple of minutes later, his assistant returned to simply inform me that "the appointment is over. I am still in a state of confusion, wondering if there was some kind of critical emergency or external factor that led to such a sudden and necessary departure. This significant lapse in care has unfortunately left me feeling very anxious and without the necessary next steps. I believe this situation needs to be formally reviewed to ensure that all patients feel respected and receive continuous care. But with all the comments I see, it seems the issue is deeply engrained in the organization.

This clinic has the most turnover of any I have ever seen. Doctor's come and go. As such, there always appears to be turmoil with appointments taking many weeks to up to 3 months and with a rotating staff of PA's. Some, like Sergio, are pragmatic and practical and unlikely to rule against a former doctor's prescriptions. Others, like Ryan F. appear timid and unpractical and willing to go against the rx the doctor you just had there prescribed without issue (which is very unprofessional and should be illegal, frankly). Been here for over a decade, and have had over 10 different clinicians (Siebert, twice). It's a shame, because the pharmacy downstairs is super amazing (as was Siebert, likely chased away). Then having to deal with refusals on meds by the likes of RF doesn't make sense part of a clinic that does not seem to connote or promote any sense of continuity or stability...
