Dr. Van at Evolve Longevity Center has seriously changed my life. I’ve lived with fibromyalgia since I was 25, and now at 45 I can honestly say I’ve never experienced the level of care, attention, and the best results with Dr. Van at Evolve Longevity Center of Irvine.For years I felt like I was just “existing” — losing muscle mass, exhausted, no sex drive, my skin aging rapidly, and no real luster for life. Dr Van has changed my health/life in ways I didn't think were possible. I have a history of autoimmune/other serious medical issues and felt like I had tried everything to the point of wanting to just give up. So while I was interested in more natural ways of healing and optimizing my health, I was very skeptical about trying something new. However, what differentiated Dr Van for me in the beginning was her experience in both western medicine combined with functional medicine. I've been working with Dr Van for ~6 months and she continues to surpass my expectations - for the first time in a long time, I'm sleeping better, feeling more energized, having more mental clarity and losing weight the safe way. I've never met a doctor who is so attentive to my unique needs, excellent at explaining complex things in simple terms to understand my options, and always available via phone/text to answer questions. I liked how her program has been deliberately build on phases or building blocks that help maximize results along the way as each phase stabilizes. She started with extensive blood work to establish a baseline of my overall health instead of rushing/trying to sell me on the typical hormone/other therapies prematurely that likely would not have been successful w/o addressing the root of my baseline health needs first. Traditional bloodwork with my primary care doctor missed so many important imbalances in my hormones and my health. Dr Van identified some surprising food allergies and other health imbalances, which helped shape what we started working on improving through diet refinement, supplements and IVs. From there, we progressed into hormone/other therapies. My journey is still going, but I am truly grateful for the noticeable improvements and new habits in my day to day life so far.
