I had a terrible experience with Helix for testosterone replacement therapy. I signed up in 2020, agreeing to $200–$225 a month. Over the next few years, they raised my rate several times—without notice—to as high as $385, all without my consent. They charged my credit card automatically, and I didn’t catch the increases right away. On top of that, they mistakenly charged me an extra $50 a month for six months, then refused to refund it. The service was just as bad. They constantly switched staff, so I never dealt with the same person twice. The people they sent to my home for blood draws were often unprofessional and made me question if they were even qualified. Worst of all, I found out later that most insurances actually cover testosterone therapy if you go through a doctor. You could get it for free or at a fraction of the cost! If you’re considering TRT, skip this company. Find a reputable doctor and go through insurance—you’ll get better care and save yourself a lot of money.

I've worked with Helix for a few months now and have been very impressed with the services. Their team offers mobile blood work which is a huge convenience for me to not have to go to a doctor's office, their concierge staff is responsive and flexible, and their treatments have significantly boosted my daily quality of life. Even though I've received discounts from Helix MWR for this review, I still tell all my friends and family that are interested in optimizing their hormones about the company. Thanks guys! Update as of June 2023: continuing treatment with Helix and I continue to be impressed with the level of convenience and care they deliver for patients. Update as of September 2023: the on-demand convenience of a blood draw and seamless delivery of my medication is top-tier. Can't emphasize enough how nice it is to not have to go into medical buildings for blood draws, and to have a responsive staff on-hand whenever I have any questions. I recommend it to all my friends and family. Update as of June 2024: I continue to be impressed with the staff’s responsiveness and commitment to providing on-demand medicine, thanks Helix! Update as of July 2024: continue to be an impressed customer. They're responsive, make medicine deliveries a breeze, and I like that I can get treatment without having to go in person to a medical office. Update as of November 2024: Still an impressed customer. They're responsive and always available for consultations.

Helix started off to be a great option for my needs. I have had so many monthly billing issues with them though. Not only have I been charged double the amount for a subscription but also have been charged for a subscription for another patient in my value that has never even received services yet alone a final consultation to go over test results. I would definitely recommend making sure your monthly invoice is fully thought through.

I was initially pleased with the service as the staff was quite friendly and responsive. Unfortunately part way through my initial onboarding I lost my job and didn't think starting the therapy would be a sustainable financial choice at that time. As such I was never qualified for treatment through Helix MWR. They continued to charge me $250-$255 each month however, even though services were no longer being rendered (blood panel, Dr consult, etc) and no medicine was ever delivered to me. This was after they were fully paid $400 for the initial processing fees, blood panel, nurse practitioner visit, etc). When I inquired about this the concierge stated that I would continue to be charged even if the medication never ships. They have also so far refused to consider a refund for said charges and left me to pursue other avenues to rectify the duplicitous charges. Thus far I have disputed the charges with my credit card company, filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and will ensure I write a review on every platform I can find them on so as to warn others of their shady business practices.

Helix is amazing! They patiently worked with me to balance my hormone levels after birth control pills ruined them. I consulted with several companies before settling on Helix. No other company provides this level of personal care and custom compounding.
