I have been a patient of Dr. Pinto's for quite a few years. Every since Dr. Kahn left, in fact. Through the years, I have lost Dr. Kahn, Dr. Ali, Dr. Moursi and Dr. Shelton. Dr. Ozdemire (sp) performed my first surgery at UAMS back in 2005. All of them were highly competent, and compassionate professionals. Likewise, I put Dr. Pinto in the same class. Her dedication, patience and humility is unmatched. She listens and explains, thoroughly, especially when I experienced anxiety about a condition or upcoming procedure. She's one in a million!!! We all love her, patients and staff alike.

I have been associated with the Elder Care Clinic for a long time. My father and then my mother in law were patients there in the early 2000s and now my husband and I are also patients. The care has always been excellent. We are especially pleased with the care team concept where the PCPs at the clinic have access to all the state of the art specialty clinics available through out the UAMS campus to help with diagnosis and treatment. We have rarely encountered any staff member at UAMS and never at the Elder Care Clinic who has not been friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, caring and professional.

Dr. Veronica Pinto Miranda is a very concerned, thorough and kind professional. I can’t say enough good about her care. Everyone I have met at he Thomas and Lyon Longevity Crnter has treated me with curiosity and compassion. Thank you, Dr. Pinto Miranda for all you hav b done for me.

My experience with Dr Mendratta was excellent as usual. She pays attention and addresses your concerns and questions. If needed she refers you to the doctor for that specific problem so that you can get the best results. I trust Dr Menderatta implicitly with my medical care. She always has a smile when she comes in door to your room. That makes everything better from the start.
