This was a very disappointing experience. I had an appointment scheduled for today, but my lab test results were not ready yet. I explained this in advance and was told to still come in, pay for the visit, then return in two weeks and pay again just to review the results. I contacted the lab directly, and they explained that the doctor or medical assistant could easily call or fax to obtain the results. Unfortunately, no one at the office made any effort to do this. They were not even present or willing to help coordinate the information. I genuinely do not understand how a thyroid condition can be evaluated without blood test results. When I raised this concern, I was simply told I still needed to pay the fee regardless. There was no attempt to offer a solution or prioritize patient care—only payment. What was most frustrating is that a solution existed, but the office chose not to use it. Instead, I was told that if I did not attend the appointment, I would still be charged. This experience made me feel that money mattered more than helping patients. Very disappointing and not patient-centered care.

The front desk is friendly, and well organized when I come in for my weekly appointment. Ty has helped me quite a bit over the years and always goes above and beyond. Ivana is the medical assistant I see most often and I can’t say enough about how much she cares. Meagan Gruwell & Christine Santos are both knowledgeable and patient as I tend to ask a lot of questions. Highly recommend this practice.

I began going to EDLC a little over two months ago and had to terminate my relationship with Brianne today. Throughout my visits, Brianne demonstrated poor bedside manner, limited clinical confidence, and inconsistent follow-through, including failing to order or provide requested lab work. Despite multiple requests for printed labs so I could actively manage my own health, she never had them available and responded dismissively, often implying that my involvement was unnecessary. The final issue occurred today when the office called to say she decided to work from home and wanted to convert my in-person appointment into a surprise telemedicine visit. There was no emergency or prior discussion. It was simply her preference. That is unacceptable. Patient care and basic professionalism should come first. Overall, Brianne lacks empathy, attentiveness to patient needs, and clinical rigor. I would not recommend this practice.

Even though my insurance made receiving appropriate services tricky, the staff persisted and I was able to have my care at EDLC covered. I am also appreciative of their telephone appointments, advice, and support, especially from Leeanna whose caring attitude always comes through. Most of all, I feel great and am looking forward to continuing care in the future!

I came here after another endocrinologist wasn’t helping me feel better. Leeanna really took the time to listen, asked thoughtful questions, and figured out what was going on. I’ve been feeling great since starting treatment and feel well cared for. I would absolutely come back and recommend this practice.
